To provide a boost towards reaching their goal of winning Colonial Athletic Association football championships and competing on a national stage the Tigers are creating an inner-circle known as the Football Excellence Fund.
With an annual donation of $1,500 or more the Football Excellence Fund inner circle members can enjoy special benefits associated with this higher level of support that include exclusive invitations to events with football staff and players throughout the year, apparel (golf shirt, pull-over and hat) and regular updates through e-mail communication.
"We need the support and enthusiasm this inner circle of our Tiger Football Family will provide our program," says Rob Ambrose, the Tigers' head football coach. "The efforts of this group will allow us to enhance our recruiting and make other upgrades that will help us become a contender in the CAA."
Annual members to this elite club will be those who contribute $1,500 or more each year to Tiger Football.
Membership
- To become a charter member in 2011, a gift or pledge should be received on or before July 20, 2011 to reap a full year's worth of exclusive benefits.
- A membership pledge may be fulfilled over a 12-month period to make contributing more convenient. Members can make monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual payments through the Towson University Foundation.
- Contributions of any denomination are appreciated by the Tiger Football program, including one-time gifts.
