Ten Things To Know About The Towson-Delaware Game

TOWSON, Md. - Here are ten things that every fan should know as they get ready to watch the No. 13 Tigers host No. 21 Delaware at Unitas Stadium on Saturday night.

No. 1 - First In NCAA FCS: Freshman tailback Terrance West leads NCAA FCS with 14 touchdowns scored. He is also the sixth-leading rusher in the Colonial Athletic Association.

No. 2 - 2-Time CAA Offensive Player of the Week: Sophomore quarterback Grant Enders has been named as the Colonial Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week.

No. 3 - 3rd Down: The Tigers lead NCAA FCS in third down conversions. They have converted 50 of 94 third down opportunities for a .530 percentage.

No. 4 - 4-and-0:  The Tigers have a 4-0 record in the CAA and they are tied for first place with Maine at the mid-point of the CAA season. 

No. 5 - Touchdown Receptions By Tyler Wharton: Senior fullback Tyler Wharton has caught ten passes for 166 yards this season but five of them have been touchdown passes.

No. 6 - 6 Wins by the Tigers: By winning six of their first seven games, the Tigers are off to their best start as an NCAA Division I-AA program. 

No. 7 - 7 CAA Teams Ranked: Towson and Delaware are two of seven CAA teams that are nationally-ranked this season.

No. 8 - 8th in NCAA FCS: Averaging 449.1 yards of total offense per game, the Tigers lead the CAA and are ranked eighth in NCAA FCS. 

No. 9 - 9 Turnovers: The Tigers have only turned the ball over nine times in seven games. Towson ranks third in the CAA with a plus-five turnover ratio.

No. 10 - 10 Tackles: Junior linebacker Alexander DiSanzo led the Tigers to a win over William & Mary with a career high ten tackles. He also had an interception against the Tribe.
