TOWSON, Md. – Season ticket prices have been officially announced for the 2012 Towson University football season. The defending Colonial Athletic Association champions will play an attractive five-game home schedule at Minnegan Field at Johnny Unitas® Stadium.

Gold Chair Back season tickets for the Tigers' home schedule are priced at $80 while adult season tickets can be purchased for $55. Youth (ages 2-12) season tickets will cost $35 each.

Season ticket holders renewing or purchasing seats in Sections 111 or 211 (Gold Chair Back) of Unitas Stadium will be required to make a Tiger Club Donation of $50 and $100, respectively. A separate invoice will be sent out for these locations with the minimum donation level requirement listed following the end of the current Tiger Club membership period (July 1, 2011 – June 30, 2012). Towson University faculty and staff members and senior citizens (65 and over) can purchase season tickets for $35 each.

The “Business Backs the Tigers” season ticket option returns for the 2012 season and allows businesses to purchase four or more season tickets at a price of $40 per seat. All businesses who purchase this package will receive a 2012 football poster and gift that can be displayed at their company.

In an effort to provide families with an affordable entertainment option, Towson Athletics is again offering its Family Plan for $160 for a family of four. The price includes two adult and two youth season tickets as well as two memberships in the Junior Tiger Club ($50 value). The Junior Tiger Club membership offers a tee-shirt, exclusive parties, autograph sessions and more to children ages 2-12.

Season tickets for groups of 10 or more are also available for $30 per seat.

A new season ticketholder option for recent Towson graduates in the past decade (2002-current) is the Young Alumni Plan. Young Alumni season ticket packages are available for $35 per seat.

All current season ticketholders will receive invoices to have the opportunity to renew their seats. The deadline to renew season tickets is National Letter of Intent Signing Day on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Watch www.TowsonTigers.com for details on signing day events and coverage.

As an added bonus, all new season ticketholders and renewals that are completed in January will receive four free tickets to a Towson men's or women's basketball game of their choice.

Deposits can be placed to reserve new season tickets for 2012. Deposits are $25 per seat and are non-refundable. The Tigers' five-game home schedule includes games against William and Mary (Sept. 15), St. Francis, Pa. (Sept. 22), Maine (Oct. 13), Old Dominion (Oct. 20) and Rhode Island (Nov. 10).
