NEWARK, Del. - For the second week in a row, the Tigers will be playing a nationally-ranked Colonial Athletic Association team on the road when the Tigers visit Delaware. The Tigers are coming off their first road win of the season, a 49-35 victory at CAA co-leader Villanova last week.
Last week, the Tigers upped their CAA record to 3-2 with a win at Villanova ... Towson has won five of its last six CAA road games ... In 2011, the Tigers were 4-0 in CAA road games last year (wins at Old Dominion, William & Mary, Maine, Rhode Island) ... Towson has an all-time CAA road record of 11-23 ... Under Coach Rob Ambrose, Towson is 6-8 on the road.
