TOWSON, Md. - Due to expected snowy conditions in the northeastern part of the country, the Towson women's tennis match at Hofstra that was originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 9 has been cancelled, head coach of the Tigers Doug Neagle announced Thursday. The match would have been the first of the spring season for the Tigers.

Instead, the Tigers will resume their season with a match at Maryland on Friday, Feb. 15. Towson is currently 1-0 on the young season after posting a 5-2 victory over Mount St. Mary's on Oct. 4.
