| @Towson_WTEN Wins Shortened Match, 4-0

EASTON, Pa. - The Towson women's tennis team overcame unfavorable weather conditions and earned a 4-0 victory at Lafayette on Friday in a shortened match due to snow. Towson is now 3-2 this season.

The Tigers earned singles victories from Lorena Ferrer, Andrea Samlin and Moriah Burke all in straight sets.

Ferrer defeated Amanda Kusnierz 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Samlin defeated Lucy Bass at No. 4 singles by the same score and Burke scored a win over Liza Blank 6-1, 6-1. The Tiger trio won all three scored decisions in singles play. 

"We needed a win, and the girls were tough in this weather," Towson head coach Doug Neagle said. 

Towson also got wins in doubles play from the pairings of Samlin and Nisha Shah as well as Ferrer and Burke to take the doubles point and secure the 4-0 win.

Towson travels to Lehigh on Saturday.
