| @Towson_WTEN Preps for Delaware on Wednesday

TOWSON, Md. - The Tigers (8-5, 1-1 CAA) will look to earn their second consecutive Colonial Athletic Association victory on Wednesday when they travel to Delaware at 2 p.m.

Towson snapped a two match losing streak on Saturday, earning its first win since March 15 with a 4-3 decision over Hofstra in Hempstead, N.Y.

Against the Pride, Towson earned the doubles point by sweeping all three matches. The doubles matches were a decisive win for Towson after finishing singles play tied 3-3 with the Pride.

The pairings of Ayana Dow and Lorena FerrerNani Lizana and Ariel Burke, and Nisha Shah and Moriah Burke were all victorious for the Tigers. Dow and Ferrer, playing at No. 1 doubles, were particularly impressive after defeating the Hofstra duo of Malissa Galanchi and Sarah Bowen 8-4. 

Ferrer, Shah and Ariel Burke earned the singles wins for the Tigers, all in straight sets. Ferrer allowed Bianca Derrick to win just two games in a strong showing, defeating her Pride counterpart 6-0, 6-2.

The focus will now shift to Delaware, who enters the match with a 7-4 record. Carmen Lai leads the team with a 15-8 record in singles play.
