| @Towson_WTEN Rolls to 6-1 Win Over Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pa. - After suffering a tough 5-2 setback to Delaware on Wednesday, the Tigers rebounded quite nicely and picked up a 6-1 road victory over Bucknell on Thursday afternoon. According to Tiger head coach Doug Neagle, the bounceback was much needed as Towson heads into a tough stretch of play.

"It was a good effort today," Neagle said. "I liked the fight and we'll keep moving forward."

Towson was yet again led by Lorena Ferrer and Andrea Samlin, who each picked up singles victories.

However, junior Nisha Shah also had an impressive performance, defeating Bucknell's Lydia Colvin 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3 singles. Shah earned her 10th singles victory of the season, and moved above .500 for the season. Shah was the team's leader in wins in each of the past two seasons.

Nani Lizana was also impressive, defeating Maria Cioffi 2-6, 6-4 (10-5).

Towson also took two of three doubles matches to earn the doubles point.

The Tigers are back in action on Saturday at Old Dominion beginning at 11 a.m.
