GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Competing in the NCAA Regional Meet at the O'Connell Center, Tiger freshmen Katie Sassa and Abby Griswold did very well.

Competing in the vault, Sassa turned in one of her best performances of the season. She earned a 9.85 score, matching the second-highest vault score of her career. She tied for 16th in the meet.

Competing as an all-arounder, Griswold earned a 38.275 score. Included in her all-around score was a 9.725 on bars to tie for 30th in the meet. She also had a 9.50 on vault, a 9.425 beam score and a 9.625 on floor.

The top-ranked team in the nation, Florida won the meet with a 198.400 team score. Minnesota finished second with a 197.10 while Auburn (196.70) was third.
