Towson Sports Network (TSN) Intern

 

 

Position Description:

The Towson Sports Network oversees the content, advertising and production of radio and television broadcasts for Towson Athletics. This position would work with sponsors, broadcast partners, on-air talent and Towson Athletics staff to assist with radio and TV broadcasts produced by TSN.

 

This position would also help to create and manage audio and video content for TowsonTigers.com, the official website of Towson Athletics. The position would report to the Director of Sales and Marketing for Athletics.

 

 

Responsibilities to Include:

  • Assist with fulfillment of radio inventory on WNST, WTMD and WBAL
  • Assist with fulfillment of TV inventory for the Pat Kennedy Show and game broadcasts
  • Coordinate on-air interviews for selected broadcasts
  • Conduct pre-recorded interviews for broadcast (pending approval of air tape)
  • Promotion of department's broadcast elements
  • Help oversee production of Pat Kennedy Show, Chalk Talk with Gordy Combs, etc.
  • Create and produce new video content for web site (and possibly video boards)
  • Coordinate online audio & video streaming program

 

Requirements:

  • Course work and/or experience in radio, TV or media production
  • Interest in sports and sports marketing
  • Enthusiasm

 

Timeline:

This position is a one-year internship for the 2007-08 school year (September 2007– April 2008.) beginning with the Fall Semester of 2007.
