FOOTBALL: Tiger Marching Band Leaves for Macy'S Thanksgiving Day Parade Nov. 23 from Unitas Stadium

TOWSON, Md. -- The Towson University Marching Band is the only university band in the nation participating in the 2009 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Towson University President Dr. Robert L. Caret and Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith will be part in a University send-off on Monday, November 23 at 2 p.m.

Please join Towson University faculty, staff and students, alumni and friends at a spectacular send-off celebration in Unitas Stadium for the Marching Band before they head to New York City for this once in a lifetime opportunity. There will be refreshments and giveaways like a 32" flat screen TV,a Wii, a portable DVD player and iPod.  Also. the first 100 guests will receive $5 gift cards to either Five Guys, Chipotle, Starbucks or Target.

Parking is available at the stadium in lots 20 and 21, accessible via the south entrance to Auburn Drive. The main gates to the stadium on the pressbox side will be open for fans to enter the stadium.
