Position:

A former record-setting swimmer for the Tigers, Jeb Beaver is in his fourth season as a volunteer assistant on Coach Pat Mead’s staff.

 

Beaver joined the Tigers following a four-year stint as an assistant coach at Hood College. He also spent a year as the head coach at Walkersville High School, leading the Lions to their highest single-season win total in school history.

 

A 2003 Towson graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Beaver was a four-year letter winner for Coach Pat Mead. He was a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay team, which won the America East title in 2001. In addition, Beaver helped the Tigers win the 200-yard medley relay crown at the 2003 ECAC Championships.

 

A two-time co-captain for the Tigers, Beaver ended his career as a member of the record-setting 200-yard and 400-yard medley relay teams. 

 

In addition to his work in the pool, Beaver was a member of the Towson University Student-Athlete Advisory Council and also served as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda. He was the recipient of Towson University’s Scholar-Athlete Award in 2003.

 

Along with coaching for the Tigers, Beaver is a teacher at Linganore High School where he teaches Advanced Placement World History, Political Science, American Studies and Psychology classes.
