RICHMOND, Va. – Senior Devin Kirby of the Tiger men's swimming and diving team has been named as the recipient of the Colonial Athletic Association Swimmer of the Week award for the week ending January 31, it has been announced by CAA officials.

It is the second time this season Kirby has been honored by the CAA.

Kirby won a pair of individual events in the Tigers' 132-130 loss against Johns Hopkins on Friday afternoon. He won the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 20.65 seconds, which is the fastest time in the CAA this season. Kirby also posted a time of 48.60 seconds to win the 100-yard freestyle.

The Tigers will be idle until the Colonial Athletic Association Championships, which begin on February 25 at George Mason University.
