Fall Sports Pep Rally to be Held September 7

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University Department of Athletics and Student Government Association will hold its annual Fall Sports Pep Rally on Tuesday, September 7 at 7 p.m. at Johnny Unitas® Stadium.

Held prior to the first football game of the year, the pep rally will feature appearances by the Tiger football, men's soccer, field hockey, volleyball, cross country, and men's and women's swimming and diving teams. In addition, there will be performances by the pom squad, Tiger cheerleaders and the Towson University Marching Band.

“I'm really excited to celebrate the kick off of Athletics this semester with the Pep Rally,” Student Government Association President Nicole Kazanecki said. “It's a great way to get students involved with Doc's Army as well as introduce them to the Tiger players and coaches.

“We hope to see a lot of new and familiar faces at the pep rally and at all of the games throughout the year,” Kazanecki said.

There will be free food and t-shirts for those in attendance and students can receive 15 Doc's Army points.
