TOWSON, Md. - The Tiger men's basketball program will hold its first-ever "Tiger Fun Run" on Oct. 13.

The event, which will help kick off the 2011-12 season, will feature a road run by the men's basketball players around the Towson campus. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to join the members of the team.

All interested participants are asked to make a minimum $5 donation at the beginning of the race with all proceeds being given to the Kennedy Krieger Institute for Autism Research. The first 30 people to sign-up will receive commemorative t-shirts.

The event will take place at 2 p.m. and the race will start and finish at the Towson Center.

Members of the men's basketball team as well as the coaching staff will be available afterwards for a meet-and-greet.
