NORFOLK, Va. – Towson (3-8,
1-4 CAA) competed in its second meet in two days Saturday, but fell to Colonial
Athletic Association counterpart Old Dominion Saturday by a score of 155-122.
“We did a good job,” Towson Head Coach Pat Mead said. “There were definitely
some bright spots in the middle-distance and distance events.”
Freshman
Matt Lowe and senior Wesley Foltz swam well for the Tigers
against the Monarchs. Lowe placed first in the 200-yard individual medley,
posting a 2:00.58 time. He also finished third in the 200-yard butterfly event.
Foltz
was first in the 100-yard butterfly, clocking a time of 54.11 seconds. He also
finished third in the 200-yard freestyle event.
Sophomore
diver Alex Cohen was solid again for
the Tigers, as he won both the one and three-meter dives for Towson.
Cohen
scored 222.68 points in the one-meter event and 253.28 in the three-meter dive.
