TOWSON, Md. – Fans of the 2011 Colonial Athletic Association
Champion Towson University Football team can join the coaches, student-athletes
and staff for the official championship celebration on Friday, April 20, at the
Valley Mansion in Hunt Valley, Md.
Presented by Towson University Athletics and the Tiger Club,
the Gridiron Gala will commemorate the team's championship season and
will culminate with the presentation of the CAA Championship Rings.
“This will be a very special night as we honor the
accomplishments of a very special group of young men, their coaches, parents,
and the generous Tiger Club benefactors whose support helped to make our
championship possible” said Rob Ambrose, (below) the 20

of the Year & the CAA Coach of the Year. “We look forward to seeing our
fans come out and join us for what will be a memorable night.”
The social hour begins at 6 p.m. with dinner and awards
beginning at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the event can be purchased individually or in
packages of ten (10). A portion of the
ticket cost will be credited as a tax-deductible gift to the football program.
Silent auction items will include items from Towson University
alumni Jermon Bushrod, '07 (New Orleans Saints – NFL Pro Bowl 2012) and Gary
Neal, '07 (San Antonio Spurs/NBA All Rookie Team 2011), along with many special
one of a kind items from the 2011 championship season.
As a prelude to the Gridiron Gala, all of the Tigers' game
worn jerseys from the 2011 campaign are being auctioned off online and can be
purchased by clicking here.
The live auction will be highlighted by a trip for two (2)
and two (2) tickets to the Director of Athletics Suite
for the Towson-LSU football game on September 29, 2012 in Baton Rouge, La.
The attire for the evening is Business Formal. Pre-registration is REQUIRED. Please R.S.V.P. no later than Wednesday, April
