TOWSON, Md. - Following their 8-7 win over George Washington on Saturday, the No. 19 Tigers are back in action on Tuesday, Mar. 13. Towson (4-1) travels to No. 6 Syracuse for first draw at 4 p.m.

Towson will be facing its second ranked opponent of the season after defeating then No. 12 Loyola, 7-6 earlier this month.

In the win over George Washington, the Tigers got two goals each from attackers Sarah Appelt, Andi Raymond and Ashleigh Rohrback. On the season, the sophomore Raymond leads the Tigers with eight goals and five assists for 13 points. Appelt, the Tigers' senior co-captain, has seven goals and five assists. Rohrback, a redshirt sophomore has contributed eight goals and one assist. Senior goalkeeper Mary Teeters has made 47 saves and brings a 5.23 goals against average into Tuesday's game.

The Orange (3-2) are coming off a 10-9 win at No. 3 Maryland on Saturday. Michelle Tumolo led Syracuse with three goals and two assists in that contest. Tumolo leads the Orange with 10 goals and nine assists on the season while Alyssa Murray has contributed 11 goals and seven assists. Alyssa Constantino leads Syracuse with a 9.96 goals against average and a .493 save percentage this season.

Following Tuesday's game, the Tigers return home on Saturday, Mar. 17 to host Richmond at 1 p.m.
