TOWSON, Md. - The Tigers look to extend their current win streak when they return to Johnny Unitas® Stadium on Friday, Apr. 13. Towson hosts Hofstra with first draw set for 7 p.m.
The game will be broadcast on WNST-1570 AM with Spiro Morekas and Courtney Martinez Connor handling the call.
The Tigers (9-3, 3-0 CAA) bring a three-game win streak into Friday night's home game. Towson is 5-0 this season in Johnny Unitas® Stadium, including a 10-8 win over Delaware on Apr. 1 to open Colonial Athletic Association play.
The Tigers are led by sophomore attacker Andi Raymond. Raymond had four goals in the Tigers' last game and now has 30 points on 20 goals and 10 assists. Junior midfielder Kelly Custer is second on the team with 15 goals while senior attacker Sarah Appelt leads the team with 11 assists. Senior goalkeeper Mary Teeters leads the fifth ranked scoring defense in the nation with her 8.08 goals against average and .532 save percentage.
Hofstra (3-9, 2-1 CAA) snapped a seven game losing streak with a 23-7 win at George Mason in its last outing. Current CAA Rookie of the Week, Brittain Altomare leads Hofstra with 24 points on 11 goals and 13 assists. Jill Maier and Jenn Ward are tied for second with 22 points each. Maier has 20 goals and two assists while Ward has scored 18 goals with four assists. Jaclyn Pandolf has an 11.12 goals against average and a .500 save percentage for the Pride.
The Tigers will be back in action on Sunday, Apr. 15 when they travel to Drexel for a game at 1 p.m.
