TOWSON, Md. –  Brock Roberts,  the Divisional Vice President for the North Eastern Operations of Aaron's, Inc., has been named as a guest coach for Tiger Bowl II on Saturday, April 21 and will be on the sidelines with the Towson University coaching staff during the game.

A large crowd is expected when Tiger Bowl II is played in Johnny Unitas® Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

There is no admission charge as the Tigers close out the Spring Football season.

“What an honor it is to be a guest coach alongside the 2011 Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year, Rob Ambrose, and work with the 2011 Colonial Athletic Association champions,” said Roberts. “I couldn't imagine a better winning combination between Aaron's and Towson University.”

An avid sports fan, Roberts has worked his way through the ranks at Aaron's, starting out as a Product Technician. He now oversees the operations of more than 80 locations from New York through Virginia. His affinity for college athletics led him and Aaron's into a sponsorship agreement with the winning teams at Towson University.

Last year's Tiger Bowl attracted more than 1,000 fans and is the highlight of Tiger Bowl Saturday.

Tiger Bowl Saturday starts at 9 a.m. with a Youth Football Clinic that will be held at the Towson University Soccer Complex. The clinic is open to all eighth graders or younger and it will be conducted by the Tiger coaching staff.

At 11:30 a.m., the Tiger Football Alumni Game will be played at the Towson Soccer Complex. Former Tiger gridiron greats return to the field in a game of flag football.

Tiger Bowl II concludes the football team's Spring season. Coach Ambrose and his staff have 42 letterwinners and a very talented group of newcomers hoping to impress everyone in attendance. The Tigers return nine starters on offense and nine starters on defense from last year's team.

The 2011 Tigers were known as the “Turnaround Tigers” as they were the most improved team NCAA FCS. One year after posting a 1-10 record in 2010, the 2011 Tigers went 9-3 and won their first Colonial Athletic Association championship. Towson, which was ranked No. 9 at the end of last season, reached the second round of the NCAA FCS playoffs.
