TOWSON, Md. - Highlighting the week in Tiger athletics will be the Tiger women's lacrosse team's quest for the Colonial Athletic Association championship while the Tiger men's golf team travels to Wilmington, Delaware to play for the CAA title.

The women's lacrosse team finished the regular season with a 13-3 record and a 7-0 mark in CAA play. For the second year in a row, the Tigers won the CAA regular season title and will host the CAA Tournament this weekend. The top-seeded Tigers will host the CAA Tournament on the field at the Tiger Soccer Complex.

The Tigers will face No. 4 Drexel in the first semi-final game before No. 2 James Madison plays No. 3 Hofstra on Friday. The two winners will play the CAA Championship Game on Sunday afternoon.

Coach Sonia LaMonica's Tigers clinched the CAA regular season title on Sunday when they pulled out a 10-9 victory over James Madison in double overtime. The Tigers have won seven games in a row and finished the regular season with a perfect 7-0 mark in CAA play.

Andi Raymond is the Tigers' top scorer with 28 goals and 22 assists while Ashleigh Rohrback has 22 goals with 17 assists. Kelly Custer has 27 goals with five assists and scored three goals against JMU. Senior goalkeeper Mary Teeters is allowing 8.08 goals per game and has a .516 save percentage.

The Tiger men's golf team is led by Matt Fry and Ken Jee, who are each averaging 78.0 this spring. Coach Brian Yaniger also relies on Justin Koehler, who averages just over 78.0.

While the women's lacrosse team is playing for the CAA championship, the Tiger men's lacrosse team will be trying to qualifying the CAA Tournament with a win at St. Joseph's on Saturday. The Tigers, who are 7-6 overall, have a 2-3 record in CAA action. Junior goalkeeper Andrew Wascavage ranks among the CAA leaders with a .565 save percentage while allowing 9.86 goals against average.

The Tiger softball team faces a big weekend series when the Tigers host CAA-leading Hofstra in a three-game series. The Tigers host Hofstra in a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday.

Now 20-20 overall and 10-8 in the CAA, the Tiger baseball team plays a home-and-home series against Maryland on Tuesday and Wednesday before travelling to Northeastern for a three-game series this weekend. With a 10-8 record, the Tigers are fifth in the CAA standings.
