TOWSON, Md.- The Tiger volleyball team will host an exclusive eight team spring tournament this Saturday, Apr. 28th at the Towson Center Arena.
Collegiate programs representing five different conferences will compete throughout the day. The games are scheduled to start at 9 a.m. and the last matches of the day start at 2 p.m.
The Tigers will face Loyola at 9 a.m., George Washington at 11 a.m., UMES at noon and Maryland at 2 p.m.
“The spring tournament is a way to see how far our girls have come since the end of the regular season,” said Tiger head coach Bruce Atkinson. “This is a great day to gauge our progress towards being an elite Colonial Athletic Association volleyball program”
Matches will be 2 sets each and will be capped at 27 points.
For fans looking to attend the Towson Spring Tournament; courts will be ready at 8am and there is no charge for the event.
