Towson, Md. – The grand prize winner of the inaugural “Roar to Rewards” contest will be announced this Saturday, August 11 at Towson Football Fan Day which will be held at Johnny Unitas® Stadium.  The “Roar to Rewards” contest was introduced to season ticket holders this past spring and encouraged them to refer friends and family to purchase season tickets for the 2012 season. 

The grand prize winner will receive an all-expense paid trip to Baton Rouge, La. for the highly anticipated Towson vs. Louisiana State football game on Saturday, September 29.  One lucky fan and their guest will fly on the team plane, receive a one night stay at the team hotel, complimentary food and two tickets to the game. 

Season ticket holders looking to refer more friends and family have until 5 p.m. this Friday in order to be included in grand prize drawing.  Referrals can be submitted to the Towson Athletics Ticket Office by email at 4TigerTix@towson.edu or by phone at 1-855-TU-TIGER. 

The Towson Football Fan Day, open to all Tiger fans, will start at 1 p.m. this Saturday, August 11.  Fans will have an opportunity to take pictures and get autographs from the football team in Lot 13, directly in front of Unitas® Stadium. Be a part of history by taking part of the official 2012 Towson football team photo at 2:15 p.m. inside the stadium.

After the meet-and-greet, fans can enjoy videos and music before the Tigers have an open scrimmage starting at 3:45 p.m.
