Bryan Trumbo Named Volunteer Assistant Coach

Bryan Trumbo joined Bruce Atkinson’s staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2012 season.

Trumbo joined the Tigers’ staff from after serving as the head varsity volleyball coach at Liberty High School between 2009 and 2011. He was also the assistant coach at Liberty in 2008 when the school won the state championship.

Trumbo is a Towson alum, who received his Bachelor of Science degree in physical education in 2009. He was the commencement speaker for the College of Health Professionals and received the award for Towson University’s Most Outstanding Senior in Physical Education/Teacher Education in 2009. While at Towson, Trumbo played three years for the Towson University Men’s Club Volleyball Team.

Trumbo is currently working on a Masters degree from McDaniel College in exercise science and physical education. While working on his degree, he is in his fourth year as an elementary physical education teacher at Charles Carroll Elementary School.

Trumbo is the younger brother of Becky Trumbo, who was an All-American lacrosse player for the Tigers between 2003-06.
