Alumni and Friends Golf Outing A Big Success

PHOENIX, Md. - The Towson University men's and women's golf teams hosted their annual Alumni and Friends outing earlier this month at the Towson Golf and Country Club in Phoenix, Md.

The event was a big success as numerous alumni came out to support the programs. All proceeds from the outing benefited the Towson University men's and women's golf programs.

"We are grateful for everyone's support and the turnout was great this year," said Towson men's golf head coach Brian Yaniger. "We were able to raise funds to help support both the men's and women's golf programs. It was also great to be able to catch up with many former Tigers that made it out for the event."

Brad Foxwell ('99) was the individual champion as he carded a 72.
