| @Towson_TFXC Finishes 11th in Season Finale

BRONX, N.Y. - The Towson women's cross country team completed its season Saturday, running in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship at the legendary Van Cortlandt Park 5K course. The Tigers finished 11th out of a field of 19 teams.

For the first time this season, sophomore Kara Bucaro was the top Tiger finisher, placing 28th with a time of 19:22.

She was followed by sophomore Elizabeth Tauber (39th place  in 19:36) and senior Hannah McKenzie, who was competing in her last career meet for the Tigers. She recorded a time of 20:20 to place 85th.

"Hannah is a person you can always count on," Towson head coach Roger Erricker said. "She was her consistent self."

Two newcomers to the program, freshman Ali Coning and Niki Schaefer, each had solid races for the Tigers. Coning had a time of 20:27, while Schaefer finished the course in 20:49.

The Tigers boasted a wealth of young talent and Erricker can see a bright future for the team moving forward next season.

"There was some good stuff for us to build on," he said.
