It's never too early to start recruiting new members of Tiger Nation and the best way to get started is to join the Junior Tiger Club. Anyone 13 years and under can sign up and receive exclusive T-shirts and membership cards, plus Chick-Fil-A coupons and autograph opportunities. If you know a youngster, this is the perfect club for him or her.

Last week Inside Lacrosse (IL.com) named its All-Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) team and @Towson_MLAX junior defenseman John Fennessy was named to the team. The Tigers are picked to finish sixth in the conference by IL in 2013.

If you scroll down on the homepage of towsontigers.com, you will come across the Tiger Wire Official Blog. This is the perfect place to find smaller stories from Towson athletics. One of the latest installments is “Getting-to-Know” @Towson_MLAX players, so meet freshman midfielder Jed Yousefi and junior midfielder Johnny Gallagher.

Hardwood Talk

It is game day here in Corvallis, Ore. as the Tigers prepare to take on the Oregon State Beavers. Towson has its work cut out for itself against this Beavers team. Entering the game, Oregon State boasts a 9-2 record and its only losses are to No. 10 Kansas and a three-point loss to Alabama.

The Beavers are lead by junior Roberto Nelson, averaging 16.5 points per game, but he is just one of OSU's three scorers averaging double figure points. Oh, and not to mention the Beavers are also one of the best 3-point shooting team in the nation, connecting on 41 percent from beyond the arc as a team.

But the Tigers have faced tough opponents already this season - Georgetown and Temple - and held their own, so it is very possible Towson could catch the Beavers napping.
