Towson,
Md. - Taylor Day, Emily Marshall and Natalia Pinkney
have all signed National Letters of Intent (NLIs) as part of a larger
recruiting class for Towson women's soccer in 2013.
Day, a native of Princeton, N.J., graduated from
Franklin High School and plays for PDA Ginga. Marshall is from Adamstown, Md.
The Tuscarora High School graduate plays club soccer for FC Frederick and was
named a NSCAA Academic All-American as a senior. Pinkney, from Perkasie, Pa.,
graduated from Pennridge High School and plays for FC Delco.
"Our 2013 recruiting class is made up of proven
soccer players who come from outstanding club and high school programs," said Head
Coach Greg Paynter. "Their
experience competing at the highest level will enhance our team, and I expect our
newcomers to make major contributions to our team this fall. This group
has demonstrated their ability on the field and in the classroom and will
undoubtedly represent our University well for years to come."
