| @Towson_SB's Dunham Named NFCA All-Region

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Towson University junior third baseman Delanie Dunham of the Tiger softball team has been named Second Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), the organization announced on Thursday.

“She really took off and came into her own once she became an everyday player,” Towson head coach Lisa Costello said. “She worked very hard in the off-season and it's really nice for her to be recognized.”

Dunham was one of the best third basemen in the Colonial Athletic Association and named a Second-Team All-CAA pick at the end of the season. She set career-highs in 2013 with a .311 batting average, 41 runs batted in and 34 runs scored. Dunham also had 55 hits and a .366 on-base percentage.

Her 19 stolen bases were the third-most in the CAA this season and she led the team with 13 multi-hit performances throughout the year. Dunham also had seven games in which she tallied three or more RBI's.

She had a season-high four runs batted in after a 2-for-3 performance at the plate against Drexel in an 8-0 victory over the Dragons on April 13. In that game, Dunham hit a home run and stole a base while scoring two runs.
