TOWSON, Md. ? Coach Pat Kennedy and his players hope fans will sit back and watch the Tigers play Northeastern on The Comcast Network (formerly CN8) Saturday afternoon before tuning in to catch the Ravens and Titans. The Tigers tip off at 3:00 p.m. against the CAA front running Huskies. The Ravens and Titans kick off at 4:30 p.m.
The Tigers (7-9, 2-2) will be playing their fifth game in 11 days when they travel to Boston and Matthews Arena where they'll square off with the Huskies (9-5, 4-0) who are sharing first place in the CAA standings with George Mason. Towson is coming off a tough loss at home to the Patriots this past Wednsday evening in the Towson Center.
This will be the 20th meeting between Towson and Northeastern. The Tigers lead the series, 10-9.
In addition to Saturday's telecast on The Comcast Network, the game will be broadcast back to the metropolitan Baltimore area on WTMD (89.7 FM) Radio.
