Towson is coming off consecutive losses to George Mason and Northeastern, the league co-leaders with identical 5-0 CAA records. The Rams, who are the defending regular season champs, are a game behind the Patriots and Huskies. This is the 16th meeting between the two. The Tigers and Rams have faced one common opponent this season in Delaware. VCU lost to the Blue Hens in Newark, 81-79 while the Tigers beat Delaware 62-61 in the Bob Carpenter Center.
