Members of the Blazer Club were treated to a fiesta at the home of President Caret as a final gathering for the 2008-09 year.  Concluding it's sixth year of existence, the Blazer Club provides members with opportunities to interact with President Caret, members of his senior staff, athletics staff and student-athletes.  All members have made a committment of $5,000 payable over five years that provides unrestricted support for the Athletics Department.

In addition to the fiesta, this year's members were invited to special receptions at football and men's lacrosse games (in the President's Suite), and a men's basketball game.  They also had the opportunity to hear from the head coach and team captains from Football, Men's & Women's Basketball, and Men's Lacrosse at special breakfast meetings at the Burkshire Marriott.
