Tiger Softball Complex
The Tiger Softball Complex, located behind the Towson Center Arena, is home to the Tigers' Softball team.
The field measures 200 feet down the right and left field lines and 220 feet to dead center field. Elevated wooden benches were installed in both the Tigers' and visiting team dugouts in February of 2011 to allow for more seating, better views of the game, and more storage underneath each bench.
Two bullpens with two mounds apiece are located down the first and third base lines in addition to two outdoor batting cages beyond the right field fence.
Spectator seating is behind home plate and along the first and third base lines accommodating over 200 fans. The playing surface of the field is grass. It is maintained by the Towson grounds crew with the aid of an underground drainage system complete with sprinklers.
A Daktronics scoreboard and accompanying sound system make game day more enjoyable to fans and players alike. In the event of the inclement weather, fans are asked to either exit to their cars or the Towson Center for safety. Parking for fans is provided in Lot 21.
