TOWSON, Md. - After a 6-1 victory over George Mason Monday afternoon, the Tigers (11-9, 2-2 CAA) will travel to the Naval Academy Wednesday to face their in-state rival at 3:00 p.m.

Wednesday's match will serve as the first of Towson's three remaining matches this week. The team also competes against Delaware on Friday and James Madison Sunday.

The Tigers had four players defeat their opponents in straight sets in the win over the Patriots Monday, a group that includes Nisha Shah, Andrea Samlin, Ayana Dow and Ariel Burke.

Shah, a sophomore, defeated Brooke Blackwell 6-1 and 6-0 after teaming with Cailey Easdale to earn a doubles victory for Towson, an 8-5 win over the George Mason pair of Ekaterina Desiatnikova and Andrea Londen.

Burke defeated Londen in singles 6-4 and 6-2, while Samlin scored a 6-1 and 6-1 win over Desiatnikova.

Dow defeated Tori Zalewski in singles 6-3 and 6-1.

Navy enters the match with an 18-1 record. Its lone loss of the season came at the hands of George Washington March 4, with the Colonials victorious 6-1. Gabby Winter leads Navy with 22 singles wins.

Delaware is currently 7-4 this season, while James Madison is 9-4. Both matches against the CAA schools will be at home for the Tigers. Friday's match is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. start, while the Dukes and Tigers meet at 10:00 a.m. Sunday.
