TOWSON, Md. - When the Tigers host Richmond on Saturday night, the top two fullbacks in the Colonial Athletic Association will face off.
Richmond is led by junior Kendall Gaskins, a first team All-CAA selection last season. The Tigers counter with senior Tyler Wharton, a second team All-CAA pick in 2010.
Gaskins has led the Spiders in rushing with 335 yards on 84 carries. He has also scored a team high seven touchdowns.
Wharton has also contributed to the Tigers' success with his pass receiving ability. In the first four games, he has caught five passes for 110 yards and he has scored three touchdowns. Wharton is averaging 22 yards per catch.
