TOWSON, Md. - Against the Georgia State Panthers Saturday, Towson received six blocks from senior forward Robert Nwankwo as part of 10 total blocks for the Tigers.
That figure was the second most by a team in the Colonial Athletic Association in a single game this season and a season-high for Nwankwo.
However, Nwankwo is no stranger to making his opponents have feelings of rejection, as his 2.5 blocks per game is third in the CAA. He also has a strong history of excellent defensive play against the Panthers, as he set a career-high with seven blocks against the Panthers in 2009.
Nwankwo now has at least four blocks in five games this season.
