TOWSON, Md. - Towson will be competing in its 11th Colonial Athletic Association Tournament this weekend and the Tigers will be looking to build on recent early round tournament success.

Towson is an impressive 4-1 in the First Round of the CAA Championships over the past five years. The Tigers only loss in the opening round came last year in a narrow 75-69 defeat to Drexel.

In Towson's four first round victories since 2007, the Tigers have won by an average of 14.5 points per game. Towson defeated UNCW in 2007 and 2010, Hofstra in 2008 and Drexel in 2009.
