TOWSON, Md. - Tiger senior outfielder Brianna Jones has already eclipsed career highs in home runs (four) and runs batted in this season (20), yet a closer look inside the numbers makes her season all even impressive.
Jones is currently seventh in the Colonial Athletic Association in batting average, hitting .341 this season. But it's the situational hitting Jones has done in key moments to produce runs that has really stood out.
In 2012, Jones is currently hitting .351 with runners in scoring position and has a team-high 12 RBI's with two-outs, a signal of her clutch performances.
Jones has started every game for the Tigers this season and is tied for second in the CAA with 28 hits.
