Happy Monday, Tiger Nation. I am @Simon_HWT aka The Heavyweight and it's time to Wake Up on the Strong Side.

--Congrats

To CAA Coach of the year Sonia LaMonica, Tournament MVP Mary Teeters and your new CAA Women's Lax Champion, the Towson Tigers. #Roar

-- And in the end

Towson and Saint Joseph's met Saturday with the Tigers' post-season fate on the line. While the Tigers fell in a heartbreaking 6-3 loss, they still qualified for the CAA playoffs.

But before Towson and Saint Joseph's met on Saturday, I had a few questions for the Tigers to answer on the field...and I even took a stab at predicting what would happen...

1. Towson has undergone a severe offensive slump, what will it take to snap out?

My Thoughts: Towson has to take care of the ball and win as close to 50% of their faceoff opps. The Tigers' offense depends on finding the right shooter - getting the ball to the inside man, That means they're offense is more dependent on ground control than others. Towson also needs to generate scoring opportunities as much as they need to maintain scoring opportunities, so faceoffs are important.

What Happened: The Tigers were scoreless in the second and third quarters where they lost all five faceoff opportunities. Though, you have to give credit to Griffin Ferrigan who stopped 13 of the Tigers' 19 first-half shots.

2. Towson has struggled coming out of the half, will this trend continue?

My Thoughts: It doesn't appear so - being on the road is tough, but Saint Joseph's is a team that Towson hasn't had much trouble with, it'd be strange for them not to come out with a new sense of fire.  I think if Towson starts strong, they will swarm Saint Joseph's for all four quarters.

What Happened: Towson had more ground balls than shots in the third quarter - a lack of depth this late in the season seems to be creeping up on the Tigers. They were so firey in the first half, who knows how this game would've turned out if they had some fresh legs for all four periods.

3. Will the Tigers (7-6, 2-3 CAA) beat Saint Joseph's (5-9, 0-5 CAA)

My Thoughts: Yes. Simply put, Yes

Towson 12 - Saint Joseph's 7

What Happened: Towson 3 - Saint Joseph's 6. The Tigers still qualified for the CAA tournament due to a Hoftsra loss in Double OT at the hands of No. 15 Penn State
