TOWSON, Md. - The Towson men's lacrosse team completed another "Foundation" session with The Program on Monday, Dec. 3 and Tuesday, Dec. 4.
Former Navy SEAL Coleman Ruiz returned to Johnny Unitas® Stadium accompanied by a former British commando and retired Sergeant-Major Sol Sollerer. The men worked with freshmen and sophomores on day one and juniors and seniors on day two. The team completed the "Foundation" session - calisthenics, log rolling and partner work.
Towson will complete a third session with The Program in mid-January.
"The Program" was founded in 2008 with the mission of providing the best leadership and team building available. The organization designs personalized leadership and development training to challenge participants to get "that much better." "The Program" challenges participants mentally and physically to help them become better leaders and teammates. The trainings are designed to force individuals and teams to work together through shared adversity.
