TOWSON, Md. – The Towson softball team will host its annual pink game in support of breast cancer research and awareness on Saturday, March 2, when the team faces Iona as part of the TU Invitational tournament.
The team will have a table set up at the game selling pink P.A.W.S. (Proud Athletes Who Serve) t-shirts in addition to wearing pink game attire against Iona.
The game, which begins at 12:45 p.m., will be part of a large community service effort for the Tigers over the weekend. The team is also participating in the CAA Food Drive Challenge on Saturday.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink and bring non-perishable food items to the game in support of the Towson community service efforts.
