Program Overview
The Towson Cheerleaders enjoy participating in competition each year. Twenty (20) team members are chosen to compete for Towson. The Towson Cheerleaders attend local competitions as well as the NCA Nationals Collegiate Cheerleading Championship held each April in Daytona Beach, FL. Towson will compete in All-Girl Division 1. Under the direction of Head Coach Edy Pratt and Assistant Coach Nick Santolla, Towson Cheerleading advanced to Finals at the 2010 NCA National Collegiate Cheerleading Championship and placed fourth in All Girl Division 1 category. In 2011 Towson placed third at NCA Nationals in All Girl Division 1.
To effectively represent Towson University and Athletics, Towson Cheerleaders are required to:

Attend all home football games, men's and women's basketball games and tournaments.

Represent Towson University both on and off campus at publicity and service events.

Be present at all practices, tumbling sessions and conditioning workouts.

Participate in fundraising events for the cheerleading program.

Maintain a minimum grade point average as pre-determined by the coaches.

Uphold a positive image of Towson University and Towson Cheerleading.

Participate in competitions (both local and national).
