As part of Towson Community Night, local fans will have the opportunity to purchase reserved seat tickets for $8.00 each, a significant savings over the regular ticket price. Members of the Towson Community can purchase up to eight tickets each to watch the Tigers open their home schedule.
"A close-knit campus and off-campus community is critical for the development of any major academic institution such as Towson University," says Coach Ambrose. "In an effort to reconnect and strengthen those bonds, we are pleased to be able to invite and include our neighbors at Towson Community Night."
To receive the special game night discount, community members can download a special coupon. The special voucher is also available in the most recent editions of The Towson Times.
In addition to watching the Tigers host Coastal Carolina, fans attending the home opener will also be treated to a post-game fireworks display.
"The business community and the Towson Chamber of Commerce have been extremely supportive of this event," says John Latteri, the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing at Towson University. "Towson Community Night will provide our neighbors with an opportunity to interact with each other as well as local businesses. With our post-game fireworks, it should be a memorable night."
Bolt Bus is serving as the Game Sponsor for the Tigers' game against Coastal Carolina. In addition, there will be a 2009 Tiger football schedule key chain tag giveaway sponsored by GEICO. Key chain tags will be given to the first 5,000 fans that come through the gates.

In the weeks leading up to Towson Community Night, the Towson University Athletic Program will have a presence at the Towson Chamber of Commerce "FEET ON THE STREET" Friday Night Block Party. The Tigers will be appearing on Friday, September 11 and Friday, September 18 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The event is being held on Allegheny Avenue between York Road and Washington Avenue. Patrons will have the opportunity to enjoy great food and beverages while watching live performances and children's activities. The Towson University Marching Band will perform on Friday, September 18.
Tiger fans can pick up posters and schedule cards at "FEET ON THE STREET." Discount vouchers for the home opener will also be available.
