TOWSON, Md. - All Baltimore County residents will be eligible for a special discount on tickets for Tiger football when Towson University celebrates Baltimore County Day on Saturday, October 3. Under the direction of first-year Coach Rob Ambrose, the Tigers will host the University of New Hampshire at Johnny Unitas® Stadium at 3:30 p.m.

It will also be Family Weekend at Unitas Stadium.

For Baltimore County residents to purchase tickets at the discounted rate of $8.00, they will need to place their orders in advance. Tickets can be purchased by on the Ticketmaster web page (www.ticketmaster.com).

Customers should enter COUNTY in the promo box. Standard Ticketmaster fees apply.

The Tigers, who edged Coastal Carolina in their home opener last week, split their first two games of the season. In their home opener, the Tigers drew a crowd of nearly 8,000 to Unitas Stadium,

In his first year as the Towson coach, Rob Ambrose will lead the Tigers against New Hampshire, the sixth-ranked team in the nation. It will be the Tigers' first Colonial Athletic Association game of the season.

The Wildcats, who have made five consecutive trips to the NCAA FCS Championships, opened the 2009 season with back-to-back wins over St. Francis (Pa.) and Ball State. UNH upset Ball State by a 23-16 margin two weeks ago. An NCAA FBS program, Ball State posted a 12-2 record last season.

The game sponsor for the Tigers' matchup with New Hampshire is Chevy Chase Bank.

Additionally, the Tigers' game against New Hampshire has been designated as the Gold Rush. Gold tee-shirts, provided by the Auxiliary Services Department of Towson University, will be distributed to the first 1,000 fans to enter Unitas Stadium.
