NEW MARKET, Va. - The Tigers had their best showing in three years at the 2009 Colonial Athletic Association Cross Country Championships with a fifth place finish on the 6K course at the New Market Battlefield.
"It was a nice bounce back from last year," said Tiger coach Roger Erricker, referring to Towson's seventh place at the 2008 CAA's. "I thought we ran really well. We were very close to finishing third."
