Gerry Sandusky, the voice of the Towson Men's Basketball and Baltimore Raven's radio broadcasts, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies at the special Towson Basketball event being held on Monday night at Morton's Steakhouse from 6:00-8:00 pm. Sandusky, a 1983 graduate of Towson, has been the sports anchor at WBAL-TV since 1988 and has been recognized with two Emmy and Edward R. Murrow awards.
Head Coach Pat Kennedy and special guests Gary Williams, Head Coach at Maryland and former Towson Head Coach Vince Angotti will welcome Tiger fans and other basketball supporters at a special fund-raising event for Towson Athletics. All proceeds from the evening with go to support Towson Athletics.
The evening includes a silent auction, remarks from the coaches and wonderful selection of special Tiger food options or the regular Morton's menu. Tigers players, assistant coaches, cheerleaders and Tigers Mascot "Doc" will be on hand to interact with guests. Also scheduled to attend are Tiger Coaches Joe Mathews (Women's basketball) and Tony Seaman (Men's lacrosse).
