COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Led by a sixth place effort in the 200-yard breaststroke by senior T.J. Farley, the Tigers finished competition at the Terrapin Cup in seventh place following the final day of events at the University of Maryland's Eppley Recreation Center.
The Tigers scored 179 points to finish ahead of West Virginia. Meanwhile, the host Terrapins won the meet by scoring 1,144 points.
Farley posted a time of 2:09.94 to earn sixth place in the 200-yard breaststroke. Meanwhile, sophomore Wesley Foltz placed 11th in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:35.03 while sophomore Cory Ornstein was 16th in the event with a time of 17:04.85.
The Tigers also placed eighth in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:11.41.
The Tigers will be idle until January 9 when they visit the University of Delaware for a Colonial Athletic Association dual meet against the Blue Hens.
