TOWSON, Md. - The 2010 Tiger Alumni & Friends Golf Outing is scheduled to be held Friday, October 8 at Hillendale Country Club located just 20 minutes from Towson's campus.
The event begins with a continental breakfast at 8:00 am with an 18-hole competition (2 low nets/foursome) to begin at 10:00 am. The outing will conclude with a buffet lunch at the end of the round.
The cost is $175.00 per person and includes the breakfast, buffet lunch, carts, practice range usage, prizes for both low individual gross and low team net scores, gifts for participants and beverages on the course. Each golfer will also receive one complimentary ticket to the next evening's football game in Johnny Unitas Stadium where the Tigers will host the Dukes of James Madison at 7:00 pm.
The field is limited, reservations are required, early registration is encouraged. Reservations can be made by mailing in the registration form or by contacting coach Brian Yaniger (byaniger@towson.edu) at the Tiger Golf Office (410-704-3578).
Registration deadline is Monday, October 4th.
Allen Wronowski, Vice-President of PGA of America, will address the gathering during the buffet lunch.
"It's a fun time and a chance for everybody to get caught up," Coach Yaniger said. "The quality of golf that's going to be played won't be too shabby either."
Chris Baloga '05 is the defending champion.
