Kilee Taflinger joined the Tiger athletic staff in January 2011 as the Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning. Taflinger works with the Tiger women's lacrosse, gymnastics, track and men's and women's soccer teams.
Prior to her arrival in Towson, Taflinger was working at the University of Indianapolis. At Indianapolis she worked directly with the swimming and diving, wrestling, women's and men's tennis and cross country teams on their strength and conditioning programs. She also assisted with the women's basketball, volleyball, football and softball teams.
Taflinger also has experience having spent time as a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Maryland. At Maryland, Taflinger was in charge of the strength and conditioning programs for the swimming and diving, gymnastics and men's tennis while assisting with wrestling, women's basketball, volleyball, softball and football.
Taflinger earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Ball State in 2007 after having served as an intern in the Ball State program. She earned her Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Louisville in 2009. Taflinger served as a graduate assistant on the sport performance staff at Louisville for a year.
In addition to her experience working on the collegiate level, Taflinger has served as the team performance coach for the Derby City Roller Girls team and with the Center Grove High School Lacrosse team.
