TOWSON, Md. - The Tiger tennis team took time out of their busy practice schedule on March 15 to host members of the Best Buddies organization on the Towson Tennis Courts. Best Buddies is an organization that helps pair members of the community with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and fosters friendships.

Sophomore Andrea Samlin, who is a special education major and a member of the Best Buddies organization on campus helped organize the event with the team. There were seven members of the Best Buddies group that came and the team worked with them on various drills to help them learn more about tennis.

Samlin said most of the Best Buddies live in the area and work on campus.
